Creative Lead

Qudo is looking for a Creative Lead, reporting into the CMO, whose job will be to lead on all things content, creative and design. We’re on the hunt for a creative genius whose remit is broad but rewarding with responsibility for anything and everything creative.

This could involve advertising creative for a small linkedin campaign all the way to reimagining Qudo’s brand, style, look and feel. We want someone who is creative while still being methodical in their approach – someone who is as comfortable creating a magazine spread as they are in working with our product team to redesign our platform interface. You’ll also be comfortable working with and presenting to clients for whom your creative insights will power concepts designed to show how Qudo can turbocharge a creative strategy.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Company creative direction
    • As the Creative Lead your job will be to drive the creative direction that we take at Qudo. Everything from evolving our brand guidelines, ensuring our company personality and tone of voice and making sure that any instance where creative represents us is up to scratch.
  • Marketing collateral creation
    • As we take Qudo to market we will be looking to the Creative Lead to work with our sales and Marketing teams to produce a range of engaging content designed to showcase what we do at Qudo in the best way possible. You’ll need to understand, capture and convert the many ideas that we have into powerful content which performs.
  • Asset optimisation
    • Emerging from our brand and creative guidelines we’ll be looking to you to ensure that all company assets are on point and reflect the visual style that we’re aiming for at Qudo. Everything from imagery to tone of voice – but not just the website; email signatures, business cards, office media, presentations, sales collateral – the whole shabang.
  • Concepts and prototypes
    • We collect a tonne of data on our clients target populations which is a gold mine of creative direction but sometimes our clients need a helping hand to convert those insights into a piece of content. To this end, we offer our clients prototypes to serve as examples for how you mould our insights into a creative execution. As the Creative Lead you would own this deliverable.
  • Creative design
    • Anything that requires a creative mind! As the Creative Lead we will rely on your to lead on anything creative – be it working on a wall mural for our new office – through to helping us design a stand at a conference or industry event. Anything creative, you’re our person!

What we’re looking for:

Professionally:

  • A creative with over 4 years of experience
  • Someone who can both write copy and also design effectively.
  • A rare example of a creative who can appreciate, understand and harness the power of data.
  • A creative who can digest creative requirements from the client, agency creative teams and the internal campaign team and convert these ideas into creative concepts ready for execution.
  • Someone who is confident working in a multimedia environment across static, dynamic and motion design and with multiple different formats and applications in mind.
  • Someone with top communication skills – verbal and written.
  • A creative who is comfortable in familiarising themselves with a range of different industry, country and client dynamics, learning on their own and from the client on how to produce content that takes their specific audience nuances into consideration.
  • Someone who is on top of industry best practices and stays up to date on the “next best thing” in the creative world.

Personally:

  • Excellent organisational skills are a must to stay on top of the countless amazing creative campaigns you’ll be running.
  • Someone who can start small but grow alongside us as we go from strength to strength.
  • Someone who is comfortable building and leading a team of creatives to deliver our objectives.
  • A self-starter who works well with people, but when required, on their own too.
  • Someone who can handle the pressure, and meet tight deadlines while keeping a sense of humour and staying as calm and cool as a cucumber.

Things we’d love to have:

  • Experience working in B2B market research or marketing tech.
  • Experience working in a SaaS environment.
  • Someone who has experience in converting research to creative outputs.
  • A creative who appreciates data.
  • Someone who is well versed in creative web optimised content and is comfortable building content for the online world.
